G1000 Simulator Panel

 — #X-Plane#Simulator

I needed some physical flight instruments to get to know the Garmin G1000 instrument panel. After some thinking, I decided to build it myself. The designs were already available, so I only had to print it on my 3D-printer. For the interface to communicate with X-Plane, I used SimVimX, an amazing software that lets you interface with every possible aspect of the simulator. Together with the Honeycomb flight controls, I have a very realistic experience. But it's not just about the fun, but also to be able to learn every aspect of the G1000 panel without having to rent an actual plane and paying hundreds each hour just to get to know the basics.
